New 2022 Ford F-450 Super Duty
The newest Ford F-450 is at the summit of Ford's rugged trucks and has been described as "one of the largest, most capable trucks in the USA." From a pure mechanics standpoint, the F-450 stays in the same lane, continuing to offer the formidable 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 turbodiesel that can crank out 475 horsepower and a massive 1,050 lb-ft of torque. It comes with a gooseneck hitch and can tow up to (gasp) 37,000 lb.
New 2022 Ford Maverick
It's a very compact, low-priced hybrid pickup that can get an estimated 33 mpg on the highway and a remarkable 42 mpg in the city. Ford announced in January that it would temporarily stop accepting orders for the new 2022 Ford Maverick in order for production to catch up with demand. We'd say it's worth waiting for the order list to open up again as soon as the summer.
New 2022 Ford F-150 Lightning
Ford's first all-electric truck is generating its own unique form of excitement with up to 563 horsepower and 775 lb-ft. of torque. This is an electric truck with a driving range of up to 300 miles.
