A General Rule of Thumb

15,000-Miles: At 15,000 miles, you should have your Ford inspected and serviced. However, you should have had your engine oil and oil filter serviced before this milestone, as these require regular maintenance. During the 15,000-mile inspection, a technician will ensure everything is in working order. You should also receive an oil change, have fluids checked, have your tires rotated and balanced, and check your air filter.

30,000-Miles: The 30,000-mile checkup should come with the same inspections and tune-ups as the previous. However, this time more items should be checked. Your Ford's brake pads, suspension, and fuel filter should all be checked and replaced if necessary.

60,000-Miles: As before, this milestone should include the prior services, along with new items to maintain. Have your service specialist check and service your battery, brake rotors, and check for wear and tear on belts and hoses.

90,000-Miles: Once again, this milestone should include all of the previous services, along with new maintenance items. Have your technician perform a top-to-bottom inspection of your entire Ford. And check the spark plugs and any safety technology.
